Little Lions Preschool @ Loyd Presbyterian

We are thrilled to share some very exciting news with you!

Little Lions Preschool is proud to announce that beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, we will become Little Lions @ Loyd Presbyterian.

This new chapter is made possible through a generous grant from the Callaway Foundation, supporters, and the welcoming arms of the leadership and congregation of Loyd Presbyterian. Thanks to this incredible partnership, Little Lions will begin the 2026–2027 school year in the newly renovated spaces of Loyd Presbyterian’s Edwards’ Hall Educational Building. Renovations will begin immediately as we prepare to move into what will be our forever home.

For over 60 years, Little Lions Preschool has been committed to offering a proven Christian early childhood education to the children of Troup County. We are deeply grateful to continue that mission in partnership with one of the county’s pioneer churches—one that was the first to offer Christian education through the first organized Sunday School in Troup County.

The warm welcome extended to our teachers, staff, students, and families is truly an answered prayer. Over the past several months, we have trusted that when one door closes, another opens—and Loyd Presbyterian has embraced that calling beautifully. Their spirit reflects the words of Matthew 19:14: Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” We could not be more thankful or excited.

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open April 26th for current families and on Thursday, April 30th to the public. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning students as we prepare for this exciting transition.
