The founding teachers of Little Lions Preschool began this ministry to carry forward the remarkable legacy of Burma Wright, a beloved former preschool director whose Christ-centered approach to Early Childhood Education set a gold standard in the LaGrange community for over 60 years. Guided by her vision, we are committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and spiritually—while sharing God’s love in all that we do.

Little Lions Preschool is proud to continue that mission as Little Lions @ Loyd Presbyterian. Through our campaign, New Spaces with Familiar Faces, the Lord has faithfully provided a beautiful new home at Loyd Presbyterian’s Edwards Hall Educational Building. Here, our experienced and dedicated teachers will continue to serve with the same love, care, and commitment, creating a joyful environment where children feel safe, valued, and known.

Little Lions Preschool serves children ages 18 months through 4 years old/Transitional Kindergarten. It is our prayer that each child who walks through our doors will grow not only in knowledge and confidence, but also in faith—learning that they are deeply loved by God. We remain devoted to ensuring that Burma’s vision for Christ-centered early childhood education will continue to flourish for generations to come.
